Deputy Sizemore moseyed on down to Walker Chevrolet in Nitro to investigate a stolen vehicle complaint. Deputy Sizemore is requesting the public to keep their eyes 👀 open and provide any useful information that may assist with the recovery of the vehicle. The vehicle, pictured below, is a sweet 1978 Oldsmobile 2-door. Looks similar to the family truckster the Griswolds drove cross country to Wally World, but this sweet ride has some Smokey and the Bandit style rims. Smart money says this deity chariot has a pop out cigarette lighter, an 8 track player probably already occupied with ABBA’s Greatest Hits, and the high beam mechanism button on the floorboard.
If you have seen this beautiful beast of a car or know little red riding hood that stole it, contact Deputy Sizemore at jsizemore@putnamwv.org

As the school starts tomorrow, I feel it’s appropriate to present a throwback pic which will help introduce our school
resource officer, Cpl. Seth Lewis. Cpl. Lewis has done a wonderful job interacting with children and staff and continues to be an important bridge between the Putnam County Schools and the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. The attached picture shows Cpl. Lewis scoring his 16th touchdown against children of Hometown Elementary. Afterwards, Cpl. Lewis requested NIL funds. It was denied.
