Fire/Rescue Levy Estimate

For the levy rate estimate, complete the following steps:

Step 1

Go to the Putnam Sheriff’s Office Tax Record Search at:
http://putnam.softwaresystems.com/index.html

Step 2

Enter the taxpayer name, using last name first, with no comma.
Example: John Q. Public would be: PUBLIC JOHN

Step 3

Set tax year to 2023:

Click on

Step 5

Click on the link for the ticket (you may have more than one tax ticket)

Step 6

In the lower left ‘Assessment’ table, you will find the total assessed amount (Net). Jot this number down, and return to this Fire/Rescue Levy Page.

Step 7

Putnam County Fire/Rescue Levy Fee Estimate

The levy election, if passed, will REPLACE the fire fee. It will not be an additional fee.
